CPLA is a biodegradable plastic derived from crops such as maize and sugar cane, reinforced with talc or lime. The difference from “traditional” plastic? That's in the raw material. This is because PLA is not made from petroleum, but from a renewable vegetable source, thus saving or fossil resources. CPLA is heat-resistant up to 85 degrees.
