Takeaway trays of different materials

Sugarcane (pulp) is a natural waste product and is therefore also called bagasse, derived from the Spanish word for waste. Sugarcane products are made from the pulp that remains after the juice has been separated from the cane. Using heat and pressure, the pulp is compressed and shaped into the disposables that you see on our virtual shelves. Cardboard is made from paper pulp and is often recognizable by its natural and brown appearance. It is a sustainable material and has the great advantage that it is renewable and recyclable and thus prevents plastic waste. The PE coating makes the tray food-safe and grease-free.
