Description
Do you serve frikandellen or other snacks and are you still looking for an environmentally friendly container? Then this A16B sugarcane snack tray is a good option! This sustainable disposable measures 19.5 by 6.6 by 3 cm and is therefore ideal for serving frikandellen. Because this A16 container is slightly wider than the regular A16 variant, it is possible to place two snacks next to each other.
Sugarcane (pulp) is a natural waste product and is therefore also called bagasse, derived from the Spanish word for waste. Sugarcane products are made from the pulp that remains after the juice has been separated from the cane. Using heat and pressure, the pulp is compressed and shaped into the disposables that you see on our virtual shelves.
Bagasse products are made entirely from renewable raw materials and are therefore completely plastic-free. In addition, they are also 100% biodegradable and compostable according to EN13432. Products made from sugarcane are also food safe and taste neutral.

No hidden costs: prices including environmental surcharges
From January 1, 2023, we as a producer and importer will pay a contribution for all SUP products that we bring to the Dutch market. Unfortunately, we are forced to pass on these costs to our customers. The SUP storage applies to single-use food packaging, which is partly or entirely made of plastic. This also includes cardboard disposables that contain a thin (bio) plastic coating. A fixed amount of 2,30 per 1000 pieces applies to the SUP storage.
In addition to the SUP storage, there is also a waste management contribution for all products that we bring to the Dutch market. This amount depends on the material of the product. The more sustainable the product, the lower this contribution.
The SUP storage, as well as the waste management contribution, is already included in the prices on the website!
