Different types and sizes of sausages trays

All sausage trays in the range are sustainable and biodegradable. The difference between the sausage trays is often the material or the length of the tray. The standard size of a sausage tray is a16 and is available from us in kraft or sugarcane. In addition to the a16, our range also offers the a18 sausage tray, which is made from sugarcane. The a18 is a wider sausage tray compared to the a16 and useful if, for example, you want to serve two sausages in one container. The last product is a XXL sausage or frikandel tray, this tray for a sausage is almost twice the length of a standard sausage tray. Sustainable sausage trays

At TakeAware we have three materials that we use for the sausage trays: sugarcane, cardboard and organic cardboard. All sugarcane sausage trays are 100% biodegradable and compostable according to EN13432, this also applies to the Bio cardboard sausage trays. Both materials are therefore certainly an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic. The sausage trays of "normal" cardboard are made of recyclable material and are therefore certainly a better option than plastic sausage trays.
