Products with an FSC® certification

Many disposables in our assortment have the FSC® certification. What does the FSC® certification actually stand for? It stands for Forest Stewardship Council and is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation and responsible management of forests, particularly in tropical regions. Products that meet FSC® guidelines are made from wood sourced from responsibly managed forest areas. This helps to prevent deforestation, which is important for reducing CO2 emissions and combating climate change. When trees are harvested, FSC® considers the well-being of humans and animals. The forest is divided into sections, and each year trees are harvested in a different section, allowing the forest to regenerate properly. Recycled paper cleaning rolls, wipes, and toilet paper

A portion of our disposables is made from recycled paper, mainly hygiene products. With recycled paper, the paper gets a second life by going through a recycling loop. After use, the raw materials of a product are separated, forming the basis for new products such as our cleaning rolls, Z-fold hand towels, or toilet paper. Nowadays, choosing recycled paper no longer means sacrificing quality and appearance. There has been significant progress in the production of recycled paper. In the past, you could often tell that paper was recycled, for example, by its color, but that is often no longer the case.

What is 'Kraft' cardboard?

Kraft cardboard is made from paper pulp and is often recognizable by its natural and brown appearance. The word "kraft" is the German word for strong, and that's exactly what it is. Kraft paper is generally stronger than standard paper due to the random orientation and length of the fibers. It is also a recyclable and biodegradable type of paper. Kraft has a higher density than normal paper, which means less moisture can penetrate it. Kraft paper is highly suitable for various disposable packaging and carrier bags.
