Description
This sustainable 3-compartment sugarcane menu box combines durability and style in one. With a design of 21,5 by 20 by 8,1 cm, this box offers enough space for various dishes and snacks. Thanks to the sturdy construction and the handy hinged lid, this menu box is easy to transport, wherever you go. In addition, the insulating material ensures that your food stays at the right temperature, which makes the box perfect for on the road, at work or just at home. In addition, this menu box is completely PFAS-free and, under the right conditions, will be completely broken down and converted into compost within 90 days. The box is also suitable for use in the microwave and freezer.
Sugarcane (pulp) is a natural waste product and is therefore also called bagasse, derived from the Spanish word for waste. Sugarcane products are made from the pulp that remains after the juice has been separated from the cane. Using heat and pressure, the pulp is compressed and shaped into the disposables that you see on our virtual shelves.
Bagasse products are made entirely from renewable raw materials and are completely plastic-free. In addition, they are fully compostable. Products made from sugarcane are also food safe and taste neutral.

No hidden costs: prices including environmental surcharges
From January 1, 2023, we as a producer and importer will pay a contribution for all SUP products that we bring to the Dutch market. Unfortunately, we are forced to pass on these costs to our customers. The SUP storage applies to single-use food packaging, which is partly or entirely made of plastic. This also includes cardboard disposables that contain a thin (bio) plastic coating. A fixed amount of 2,30 per 1000 pieces applies to the SUP storage.
In addition to the SUP storage, there is also a waste management contribution for all products that we bring to the Dutch market. This amount depends on the material of the product. The more sustainable the product, the lower this contribution.
The SUP storage, as well as the waste management contribution, is already included in the prices on the website!
