Description
Are you looking for a container with a natural look and feel? Then this 100% biodegradable palm leaf container is a good option! This natural disposable is 18 by 8 by 4.5 cm and therefore ideal for serving small dishes and snacks. This rectangular bowl is suitable for hot and cold dishes and can be used in the microwave, oven and freezer.
Palm leaf is natural residual waste from palm trees plantations. Throughout the year, while growing, the tree losses its leaves. There was a time when nothing was done with this, the leaves ended up with the waste or were burned. Nowadays, the leaves are collected, washed and dried to be used for our friendly disposables, among other things.
Palm leaf disposables are food safe, taste and odor neutral and resistant to oil, grease and moisture. Furthermore, our palm leaf disposables can simply be disposed of with organic waste, because they are 100% compostable according to the European standard EN13432.

No hidden costs: prices including environmental surcharges
From January 1, 2023, we as a producer and importer will pay a contribution for all SUP products that we bring to the Dutch market. Unfortunately, we are forced to pass on these costs to our customers. The SUP storage applies to single-use food packaging, which is partly or entirely made of plastic. This also includes cardboard disposables that contain a thin (bio) plastic coating. A fixed amount of 2,30 per 1000 pieces applies to the SUP storage.
In addition to the SUP storage, there is also a waste management contribution for all products that we bring to the Dutch market. This amount depends on the material of the product. The more sustainable the product, the lower this contribution.
The SUP storage, as well as the waste management contribution, is already included in the prices on the website!
